Governor Doyle, Kathleen Falk and Senator Kohl to appear at Democratic rally in Rice Lake, October 21

RICE LAKE– The Barron County Democratic Party is sponsoring a Get Out the Vote Rally and Pig Roast on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Youth Building at the Barron County Fairgrounds in Rice Lake. Governor Jim Doyle, Attorney General candidate Kathleen Falk and U.S. Senator Herb Kohl will be attending as well as local Democratic candidates Sheriff Tom Richie, Registrar of Deeds Joyce Kaseno, State Representative Mary Hubler and State Senator Bob Jauch. Candidates invited to speak include Congressman Dave Obey, Barron County District Attorney Angela Holmstrom, 23rd Senate District candidate Pat Kreitlow and 67 Assembly candidate Roberta Rasmus. The rally and pig roast are free to all attendees.

“We are very honored and excited to have Governor Doyle, Kathleen Falk, Senator Kohl and our entire slate of Democratic candidates attending this rally,” said Cecil Kippenhan, Chairman of the Barron County Democratic Party. “Everyone is welcome to meet the Governor and hear him speak of his vision for his second term. This is a great opportunity for voters to talk directly with our elected officials and candidates before the November 7 election.”
