Richie wins recount BARRON November 17 2006—A recount changes the final tally in a sheriff's election, but not the end result. Barron County Sheriff Tom Richie will keep his seat after the Barron County Canvass Board declared him the winner. A recount shows he beat Rick Carr by 56 votes. That's one off the original tally from a week ago.
